A night of worship and music

The McDonald's Gospelfest: When the Choir Meets the Quartet makes its eighth annual appearance at the Prudential Center this May. Raising money for education opportunities in the local area, this lavish concert brings together world renowned stars and talented newcomers, who have passed through the auditions earlier in the year.

Headlining the event this year are the legendary vocal group The Blind Boys of Alabama, and pastor/singer Bishop Hezekiah Walker. Also on the bill are Ricky Dillard, Faith Evans, The Clark Sisters, The Thompson Community Reunion Choir, Mighty Clouds of Joy, Mississippi Mass Choir, Doc McKenzie & the Hi-Lites, Donald Malloy, Cissy Houston and the Greater Allen AME Cathedral Mass Choir.
