Quiet Storm in a Teacup

Frankie's back folks, with Maze in tow! The distinctive soul/quiet storm band burst onto the San Francisco soul scene in the early 70s with their charismatic leader, songwriter and producer Frankie Beverly at the helm. With a nod to Marvin Gaye, they combined the smooth sounds of their native Philly with a laid back California vibe, resulting in such hits as Southern Girl and Workin' Together.

They'll be joined for this specialshow by gospel-tinged RnB and soul songstress Toni Braxton. Best known for her bittersweet ballads and slow-burning grooves, the singer songwriter debuted her first ever single in 1992. Since then she has sold over 40 million albums, garnering six Grammys along the way.
