Born in Taiwan and raised in Houston, Texas, Wang has a Bachelor's in business from Berkeley, so you might be surprised that he made the move into comedy. Early in his career, he was featured at the Montreal Comedy Festival, had a special on Comedy Central, and started writing for ABC's sitcom Fresh Off the Boat.
